Larry & Lynne

While other kids were outside playing ball or riding their bikes, young Laurence S. Levine was immersed in the serious study of such artistic masters as Chuck Jones, Charles M. Schulz, Bill Melendez, Walt Disney, Mort Walker Dik Browne and  Max Fleischer (in other words,  he was watching, reading & drawing cartoons in his room all day).

In adulthood, Larry met two of his heroes, Chuck Jones & Bill Melendez…

…he doesn’t leave his room for just anyone!

Unlike Li’l Lynne who only wears one hat, Lynne Welkey wears several, which include (but not limited to) pharmaceutical, optical and retail. The hats Lynne is most proud to wear is that of  Photographer and Producer/Story Editor of AW PRUNES!

Lynne’s  favorite photography subjects are New York City &  Rudy the Cat.

As a lifelong fan of cartoons, Lynne enjoys being  the inspiration for Li’l Lynne,and to be working with Larry on AW PRUNES! (someone has to make sure Li’l Lynne keeps ol’ Dewey in his place).
