Regardless of how mismatched they may seem, or how crazy they may drive one another, Dewey & Li’l Lynne are inseparable friends (although Dewey would deny this). No matter how comical the humor may get, the friendship element always rings true. While Dewey takes everything far too seriously, Li’l Lynne is always in on the joke. If Dewey is on the ceiling because his father forgot to pay the gravity bill, Li’l Lynne doesn’t question the surrealism of the situation, she simply asks if he’s playing housefly.
